        Welcome to the Association of Fundraising Professionals
                                 Western New York Chapter!
The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is a membership organization for fundraising professionals. Our members serve nonprofit and philanthropic organizations that are seeking broad community participation and support. Founded in 1960, AFP serves more than 30,000 members representing over 207 chapters.     
The Western New York Chapter, with membership of nearly 200 individuals, is proud of its local network and accomplishments. For nearly fifteen years we have held a November celebration of National Philanthropy Day which has grown to be one of the largest events of its type in the country. Through a series of luncheon programs, workshops and courses, we seek to extend the best practices of our profession to new and experienced professionals.
